Aberdeen City Council has engaged with local, regional and national stakeholders to raise awareness of the potential of hydrogen technology.

Aberdeen City Council has deployed 5 dual-fuel hydrogen trucks within its public sector fleet to date. 1 fuel cell hydrogen truck will be deployed in 2022.

Aberdeen City Council helped to establish the North East Scotland Hydrogen Ambition Committee and plays a key role in coordinating and facilitating this group.

Aberdeen has two publicly available hydrogen refuelling stations that can refuel buses, trucks, vans and cars.
