Alsó-Tisza-vidéki Vízügyi Igazgatóság

The Lower Tisza District Water Directorate is a state-owned water management institution responsible for the operation and maintenance of water management facilities in the drainage basin of the Lower-Tisza valley in Hungary. The main activities of the directorate include tasks in connection with flood prevention and flood control, drainage and mitigation of waterlogging, provision of irrigation water, as well as the sustainable management of surface and groundwater resources.
