Athanasios (Akis) Theofilatos

Akis is an Αssistant Professor at the University of Thessaly. From 2019 to 2022 he worked as an Assistant Professor at Loughborough University. Ηe is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He holds a Civil Engineering Diploma from NTUA (2009), an M.Sc. in Transport from Imperial College (2010) and a Ph.D. from NTUA (2015). His research focuses on road safety, sustainable transport, statistical methods, machine learning/deep learning and transportation engineering.
