Spartaco Grieco research interests mainly comprise two main fields: The origins and developments of the European Union's sports policies, which he has sought using a theoretic approach based on day-to-day models and multilevel governance. Mr. Grieco is interested in exploring the dynamics of defining EU policies (far unexplored to date) through the Sport, citizens, social and green policy cases. it has already presented several project proposals most of them funded in the last 10 years
