Potential for learning or transfer
The development of tourist offer in the local communities of the continental Croatia still relies on the individual efforts, lacking the adequate management and support. The project of the City of Ludbreg serves as an excellent example how to rebrand the city and widen its offer. This is a good practice example to all cities in the landlocked towns of middle Europe, outside the main tourist corridors, which could utilize EU support and their heritage in the most opportune way.
