About this good practice
Targets: Companies (including major groups, middle-market companies, SMEs and startups), institutions of higher education and research, banks and investors, local and regional authorities and economic development agencies
Objectives: Connecting members of the network, supporting and fast-tracking projects to find funding, promotion in France and abroad
Founded in 2005, Minalogic now brings together more than 400 members (including 350 companies). Among others, it supports the content and digital usages industries. The services of Minalogic are structured around 3 approaches:
- Networking: optimise the company’s integration in the regional ecosystem and strengthen its network on national and international levels using events and by establishing connections based on a comprehensive understanding of the stakeholders in the ecosystem.
- Innovation: find the necessary resources to be a partner of a collaborative R&D project in the framework of national and European calls for proposals, while benefiting from personalised support.
- Growth: identify opportunities to boost the company's business in France and abroad.
So far, the cluster has certified 586 projects, representing €881 million of public grants and an R&D investment of €2.2 billion. Of particular note is x10 leverage for FUI projects (Inter-ministerial Fund): the 72 completed projects will generate a combined revenue of more than €5 billion over 10 years, 10 times the invested amount of combined R&D.
