The call for event partners for the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) 2022 is open. Apply by 31 March!
What? When? Where?
The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest annual event dedicated to regions, cities, and cohesion policy. It is co-organised by the European Commission (DG REGIO) and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR).
The 2022 edition takes place on 10-13 October. The event will be digital by default. Event partners organise their sessions online. High-level sessions may be hosted physically in Brussels and organised in a hybrid format including limited in-person participation.
The 20th anniversary edition focuses on four topics:
- Green Transition
- Territorial cohesion
- Digital transition
- Youth empowerment

Interreg Europe projects: join forces and apply together!
EURegionsWeek is an excellent opportunity to highlight your project results, promote your good practices, or share inspiration and experiences with peers from other regions. It is also a great chance to explore synergies with other projects working on similar matters. What better way to do so than by organising a joint activity?
Make use of this opportunity, reach out to other projects and promote your results and lessons learned in a joint session! Activities submitted jointly by several partners are favoured in the selection process. Organising a joint activity in cooperation with others strengthens your proposal and increases the chances of making the tough cut to the final agenda.
If you plan to work together with other projects to develop a joint session proposal, the experts of the Policy Learning Platform may be available to contribute to your session. Please contact Elena Ferrario, the Thematic Manager of the Policy Learning Platform, share your session concept or idea, and discuss the possibilities to work together. Please keep also your policy and finance officers from the joint secretariat in the loop.
