Which region or city will get the next European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award?
The European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award is a label granted to cities or regions with oustanding, future-oriented strategies to support SMEs.
The award is granted by the European Committee of the regions and up to three cities or regions will be selected as winners during the 2025 round of awards. The campaign was created in 2010 and since then, 39 regions and cities from 17 EU member states have received the EER award. Is your region or city next?
Make your region win the EER Award 2025!
The 2025 edition of the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) Award from the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is now open to all European cities, regions and municipalities who are keen to showcase and share their experience in promoting SMEs in their territory. The overarching theme of this edition is 'Doing business better in Eu regions and cities'.
The deadline for the submission of applications is 20 March 2024.
The winners will be announced in the Committee of the Region's plenary session in June 2024.

Register for the info day
An Information day is planned for 23 January 2024 at 10:00 CET. It will feature a thematic session on the cooperation with Ukraine.
