Renewable energy financing for the public sector
This webinar has ended. You can watch the recording, access the presentations and discover the key learnings in this follow-up article.
On 28 April from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, the Policy Learning Platform will host the first episode of the renewable energy financing series on the topic of renewable energy financing for the public sector.
During this episode we will focus on RES finance in the public domain. In particular at project bundling to bring down costs and raise third party finance. (i.e. How can public building owners get PV onto their buildings and have someone else pay for it?)
What you can expect
- Keynote speech by Ana Martinez Pinilla on the key lessons from FIRESPOL for public RES finance
- Case study by Manuel Nina from Go Parity on the Ponto Energia Platform - BundleUp Next Project
- Case study by Andy Hunt from Oldham Council on PV project financing for public buildings by citizens (COALESCCE)
- Case study by Daniel Encinas from Extremadura Energy Agency on PV project bundling for schools and health centres (FIRESPOL)
The presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion where you can ask your questions on renewable energy financing for the public sector.
