Empowering Organisations for Circular Transformation
Combining two events in one, this session will launch the C-PRONE project and introduce the Circular Minds project, both aimed at advancing circular procurement. Circular procurement pilots demonstrate potential but often fail to create real impact because organisations struggle with their implementation. The Circular Minds project aims to drive change by transforming organisations governance structure by integrating circular principles. Through capacity building activities, the exchange of good practices and strategic support, Circular minds will empower organisations to achieve tangible results in their circular procurement practices. This event will serve as an introduction to Circular Minds project, outlining key objectives, activities and the current state of play. |
As part of European Week of Regions and Cities, this event will also mark the kick-off of the C-PRONE initiative. C-PRONE, short for Circular Procurement Network, is designed to enable and facilitate international sharing among existing networks, initiatives, and key actors in the circular procurement space. Across Europe, countries, regions, and cities are experimenting with circular procurement, but there is no overarching platform or network to bridge initiatives and enable meaningful 'inter-initiative' sharing. C-PRONE fills this gap by offering a permanent umbrella for circular procurement initiatives, creating a structural space for exchanging insights and best practices. |
