Pafos Regional Board of Tourism organised the 2nd Local Stakeholders Group meeting dedicated to industrial heritage and tourism.
Best practices learned from the Workshop in Sweden on Industrial heritage tourism was presented to the stakeholders having direct responsibilities in developing and delivering sustainable eco-cultural tourism in the Pafos region.
The discussion was focused on Industrial heritage with a link to tourism and how local volunteers and refugees can be engaged in the establishment of the tourist sites where industrial heritage is located. Also, on how international associations dealing with industrial heritage, existing charters with tourism aspects, examples of cultural monuments and sites and reuse for tourism purposes.
