4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting - Brindisi

The 4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting organised by the Municipality of Brindisi took place on 10.02.2025. The theme of the meeting was “Inter-institutional cooperation - role of public institutions and NGOs”. The meeting was attended by stakeholders from different NGO’s that carry out activities related to migrants.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn about good practices that were presented during the 4th International Learning Meeting in Romania. The main objective was to identify elements that could be adapted to the local context of Brindisi.

The meeting included a discussion during which the current system of interventions for migrants was presented. Proposals were also made to introduce new priorities into the Local Social Plan that would respond to the changing needs of refugees and migrants, especially in the context of access to work and housing.

The meeting identified some interesting proposals on how to build on the lessons learned. Participants were interested in maintaining the dialogue and further exchanging experiences within the SIRM project.
