REFOCUS : Stakeholder engagement & institutional cooperation
Decision-making in sustainable mobility planning requires cooperation across the governance levels and the involvement of citizens and stakeholders in the process of Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning.
Actively engaging community stakeholders in the co-creation and co-design of innovative mobility solutions brings quality and efficiency to the process of SUMP (and equivalent) development and implementation and improves the coordination among local, regional and national administrations for developing, monitoring and updating SUMPs and other existing policy instruments.
This first webinar on Wednesday 26 March, 11:00-12:30 CET will focus on Stakeholder engagement and institutional cooperation in sustainable mobility, tackling a) Institutional Set-up and Governance and b) Strengthening stakeholder engagement through local management structures and engagement with the public.
