About this good practice
“The book on Carpathian Mountains’ legends. Bieszczady Mountains, Low Beskids, Chornohora and Gorgany” by Andrzej Potocki collects 179 legends from nations and ethnical groups, who used to live in Carpathian Mountains: Boykos, Lemkos, Jews. In the past, legends were transferred from one generation to another as an examples of wisdom. Unfortunately the process of transfer stopped during the World War II – some ethnical groups were resettled and some exterminated. Andrzej Potocki’ book help a reader to discover a world that no longer exists.
