About this good practice
Both streets are located in the city centre, not far from each other. Their transportation role is comparable (significant role in PT flows, west-east direction). Withal, Swietokrzyska street was rebuild and reopened a year ago. The area for pedestrians and bicycle was expanded at the cost of reducing the capacity for individual traffic.
This year, a comparative survey is being conducted. It includes: spatial and economic analysis, traffic survey as well as analysis of pedestrians behavior and spending.
It is a first such comprehensive study lead in Poland.
