This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
The Laboratory of Soft Energy Applications and Environmental Protection (SEALAB) of the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (former TEI of Piraeus) undertook this practice. Target of this practice: (1) Monitoring all energy data (2) Supporting the efforts towards the infrastructure development (3) Accelerating the implementation of a European national electrification action plan through the construction of EV charging stations based on PV generators. The station is considered to be very environmental friendly, able to support the decarbonisation of the European transport sector.

Evidence of success
This type of charging station is expected to enable and encourage the electrification action plan in European and national level as it is based on PV generators. Besides, it is considered as one of the most environmental friendly solutions, a fact that can accelerate the CO2 emissions reduction and the promotion of electromobility as a very sustainable and green transport field. Additionally, one of the most important features of this station is the collection and monitoring of energy data.
