Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA)

The MAA supports and represents the aerospace industry across the Midlands region. It works closely with the UK's other regional aerospace alliances and the national body ADS, as well as with other European and world-wide aerospace clusters. It offers a membership to all companies and organisations of any size that are part of the aerospace industry or desire to become part of the industry. Associate membership is available to companies outside the Midlands region.

Benefits of the membership are as follows:

• Promotion of the company’s capabilities;
• Information about news, opportunities and relevant events;
• Opportunities to network with colleagues from across the Midlands aerospace industry at regular members meetings;
• Expertise and advice on specific queries and support in developing aerospace market opportunities, identifying technology development partners and improving operational performance;
• Policy and funding lobbying;
• Funding support through their relationships with support bodies such as the Department for International Trade and Innovate UK, including advise and help them with funding applications.

As well as supply chain companies and industry partners, the MAA leadership group includes Airbus, BAE Systems, Collins Aerospace, Meggitt, Moog Aircraft Group, Rolls-Royce and Thales; all the major aerospace companies with facilities in the Midlands and some key players based elsewhere with a significant supply chain presence in the region.
