
Driving green hydrogen economy: HYDROGREENN's Collaborative Approach

HYDROGREENN (HYDROGen Green Regional Energy Economy Network Northern Netherlands) is a dynamic network initiative focused on promoting green hydrogen (H2) in the Northern Netherlands. It brings together a diverse range of stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, industry leaders, SMEs, government bodies, and educational institutions, to discuss and collaborate on hydrogen-related projects. The network's primary goal is to accelerate the energy transition and enhance SME competitiveness by sharing knowledge, expanding hydrogen infrastructure, and supporting innovative solutions.
Key activities of HYDROGREENN include:
• Networking Events: Regular meetings and events for stakeholders to exchange ideas, present projects, and discuss the latest developments in green hydrogen.
• Knowledge Sharing: Providing a platform for experts to share their insights and experiences, advancing the understanding and application of green hydrogen technologies.
• Support for SMEs: Offering guidance and support to SMEs interested in exploring hydrogen solutions, including access to funding and resources.
• Collaborative Projects: Facilitating partnerships between different stakeholders to work on joint projects that promote the use of green hydrogen in various sectors.
HYDROGREENN was initiated and is chaired by Willem Hazenberg, Professor of Practice at Drenthe College. The network is managed by the Centre of Expertise Energy - ENTRANCE at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen.
