This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
The ‘Touristic District of Molise Orientale’ characterized by different cultural heritage and traditions, and with the purpose of enhancing operators, agencies, associations and institutions responsible.
The Molise Region consists of many small countries in an agricultural matrix; to start a tourism development it is necessary to connect the small rural centers in a unique whole touristic project with cultural, food and wine, and naturalistic routes. However, there are few effective links between tourism agencies and other tourism businesses especially in the very small rural centers, involving a dispersion of information that does not easily reach tourists. The problem is the lack of cooperation between private businesses (hostels, restaurants, museum, etc.) in the tourism sector and municipal administration in developing in common strategies for the tourism sector. Then, it is necessary to train specific professional skills within the municipal administrations.
In this sense, a common strategic plan for heritage preservation and tourism development of coastal area, that involves private and public stakeholders, is the solution to the problem above. Specifically the strategic plan is developed following two steps: 1) the territorial analysis of cultural and naturalistic potentiality the region, 2) the specific touristic action plan together all stakeholders on the territory.
