About this good practice
In 2018 six Bulgarian cities hosted the sixth edition of the National eco-initiative "Old Paper for a New Book". The municipalities of Bourgas, Haskovo, Sofia, Rousse, Pleven and Plovdiv will welcome the campaign, which allows children to learn more about recycling, to understand how to preserve nature and collect waste separately. Any child who brought an adult companion with at least 5kg of old recycling paper will receive a new children's book of choice as well as gifts from the holiday partners. The organizers of ECOPACK Bulgaria AD and Greenwich Book Center remind that the more old paper the children gather, the more trees they will save from felling.
The beginning of the paper "Old Paper for a New Book" was launched on September 15, 2013. The organizers of Bookwriting Center Greenwich and ECOPACK Bulgaria AD and the partners of Old Paper for a New Book united around the idea that every child from an early age to learn to take care of nature, to collect waste separately and to have a special relation to the book and reading. For the past five years, nearly 26,250 children have been involved in the initiative. The minors, together with their parents, handed over 133 tons of paper for recycling and received 29,600 books. So we all saved together from cutting out 1730 trees.

Potential for learning or transfer
The current good practice can learn from CataloniaGP03 practice HUMANA. Based in Ametlla del Vallès (Barcelona) HUMANA promotes reusing and recycling textiles by collecting used clothing from 5.000 containers throughout Spain in 2.000 municipalities. Classifies clothes at its headquarters in Atmella del Vallès (Barcelona) for reuse or recycling;
The practice contributes for learning and transferee on local level, spreading the responsible environment behaviour and knowledge through the children and new generation. Relative good practices can be found on CircE Web site: Synpotic opportunities report and the Opportunities reports, etc. Learning and/or transfer inspiration can be taken from all these quoted GPs, as well as from the current one.
