Regional repair and reuse workshop network
About this good practice
ReNAITRe supports its members and all project leaders who work to reduce waste through prevention, reuse and awareness-raising activities.
The aim of the association is to support public policies, in particular through partnerships with local authorities in order to reduce waste on the territories of New Aquitaine through actions on prevention, reuse and awareness.
The network aims at developing a coherent project for the territory of Nouvelle Aquitaine to "ensure that each citizen of the regional territory can have access to reuse/repair structures”. The members are structures of the social and solidarity economy which share the principles of sustainable development:
- An environmental focus: supporting prevention and education about environment, waste reduction,
- An economic focus: supporting job creation while guaranteeing the lucrativeness or limited lucrativeness and democratic governance,
- A social axis: to promote social economy, local services, animation of life community, social inclusion and sustainable employment.

This practice can be considered as a good practice according to its number of members, the associated number of cities and inhabitants covered by the repair workshops members.
