TECHNOLOGICAL BONUS ITAINNOVA FOR SMEs in rural provinces
About this good practice
ITAINNOVA Technology Bonds materialize as DISCOUNTS to hire technological development, transfer and testing services from ITAINNOVA.
They materialize with a % DISCOUNT on the budget defined by the ITAINNOVA technicians for the development of the work agreed with the SME within the framework of their project. The % discount will be 50% in the case of technological development activities, technical assistance and/or consultancy, with a maximum of 15,000 euros and 20% in the case of only testing services, with a maximum of €5.000
These % will increase by 10% for SMEs in the provinces of Teruel, Huesca (rural areas)
Each Aragonese SME can benefit from a single ITAINNOVA Technology Voucher (during the 2022 financial year). SMEs that participated in the 2020 and 2021 Technology Voucher Program may participate again in the 2022 Program provided they did not receive a discount of more than 5,000.00 euros
Bonds will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted. The execution of the services will begin after the validation of compliance with the application requirements and once the SME has accepted the work and scope proposed by ITAINNOVA.

The 1st 2020 call,within the proposals for recovery in the productive economy, included in the Aragonese Strategy for Social and Economic Recovery, of Government of Aragon.
In 2020, 45 applications received, 35 of which were approved, which meant a total mobilized of 528,945 euros and a total applied discount of 229,330.50
In 2021,32 projects were approved .

Fast, and effective way to promote and boost competitiveness in SMEs in more remote areas, through regional Research and Technological Institutes. Supporting with innovation expertise and tech development.
