What is the training about?

Crafting simple and relatable communication is never obvious, especially when talking about more complex subjects. We often get lost in technical jargon, long paragraphs and too much information.

However, it's important to communicate clearly and effectively about your project's activities and achievements, not only to your peers but also to a wider audience.

Why? Because your project wants to improve regional development issues which can impact many people. Shouldn't they also be able to understand what you are working on?

So, how can you transform technical information into more appealing stories that are accessible to a wider audience?

Join our storytelling training to learn more!

Registration closes on Monday, 9 September 2024.

What will you learn?

This online training has several parts: self-paced e-learning preparation and two online workshops. Participation all parts is necessary to get the complete training.

  • E-learning module - get ready for the workshops

Before the first workshop, you need to complete a short online course. You will get access to a 60-minute course about the core concepts of storytelling. A short exercise will help you prepare you project's first story outline.

  • Workshop 1: An introduction to storytelling - 11 September 2024 (9:00 - 13:00 CEST/ Paris time)

During this four-hour online workshop you will learn the fundamentals of storytelling. You will practice on your project and learn to apply a specific method to various communication tools, such as presentations or web content.

  • Workshop 2: Producing your communication material - 16 October 2024 (morning/ afternoon)

In the second online workshop, you will produce concrete communication material for your project using the tools from the first workshop. Please choose between the morning and afternoon sessions when registering to this training.

Who is this training for?

This online training is for the first call project lead partners/ project coordinators and/or communication managers. Up to two representatives per project can register.
