Help your region win the EER Awards 2024

The call for the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) Award 2024 is open. The Committee of the Regions is once again looking for regions and cities ready to implement a future-oriented entrepreneurial strategy.

Up to three regions or cities have a chance to be awarded with the EER label and join a network of pioneering territories actively strengthening their entrepreneurial ecosystems, exchanging good practices and partnering up for European projects. 

The lead theme of the EER 2024 campaign is Cities and regions on a path to resilient, sustainable and digital growth stressing the role of local and regional actors in fostering sustainable, resilient and digital forms of entrepreneurship.

For inspiration, you can have a look at the Interreg Europe iEER project. It brings together former EER winners and shows how interregional cooperation can help in boosting regional entrepreneurship ecosystems and support young entrepreneurs in particular.

Any EU territory below the Member State level can apply, as long as they have the political-level competence to implement an entrepreneurial strategy. Regions, cities, EGTCs and Euroregions are welcome to participate.
