On 22 November 2022, the Policy Learning Platform is pleased to invite you to a workshop on digital innovation hubs in Espoo (Greater Helsinki metropolitan area), Finland!

What it will be about

This event will put the spotlight on digital innovation hubs: one-stop shops that help companies dynamically respond to digital challenges and become more competitive.

Throughout guest lectures, interactive sessions, networking and study visits you will learn how to support the digital transformation and competitiveness of European businesses.

22 November | Workshop on digital innovation hubs

Our thematic experts Luc Schmerber and Mart Veliste will moderate the workshop, which will take place from 9:00 to 16:00 CET, followed by a study visit and a networking cocktail.

The workshop will include an overview of the Finnish and local digital innovation ecosystem, both on the policy and institutional levels.

It will take place in Espoo, where many of Finland's largest corporations and two of the most important sustainable innovation players — Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland are located.

It is also the place where Slush, a leading start-up event in the world, and most of Finland's unicorns were born. Together with Enter Espoo we will gain insights into one of the most vibrant digital innovation ecosystems.
