From 2 to 3 May 2024, the Policy Learning Platform is organising a peer review for the Leitrim County Council, Ireland

Leitrim has the smallest population of all counties in Ireland; however it does have a growing population and is the 4th fastest growing county nationally.

Over the last years Leitrim County Council has introduced several projects with varying supports to foster and grow the creative sector. However, forming networks and keeping ongoing engagement has been challenging, especially as most creative businesses in the region are micro enterprises that are dispersedly located.

The peer review will therefore focus on...
  • How other regions have developed and sustained an eco-system for creative industries
  • How to develop a region of the creativity?

This event is by invite-only. The key learnings will be shared afterward.
