1st Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting in Romania

The 1st Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting on Design and evaluation of Sustainable Urban Mobility measures, will take place on August 31st, 2023, between 2 PM and 5:30 PM at Constanta City Hall, 51st Tomis Boulevard, Constanta.

The event will be hosted by the Constanța Metropolitan Area Intercommunity Development Association and will feature discussions from various participants including public central authorities (the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Transport), Academic sector, Romanian Metropolitan Areas Federation, NGOs, among other stakeholders.

The main objective of the meeting is to present the SPOTLOG project and its concept and to start the discussion on SUMP measures design and evaluation. How SUMPS helps us to better approach issues in the field of urban mobility? How to cut down pollution by better mange urban mobility? How to promote green transport through innovative measures? What are the main challenges and opportunities of public authorities related to SUMP measures design, implementation and evaluation? 

The event will focus on designing the next SUMPS generation  in the context of the actual challenges in this field and in connection with the new targets regarding climate neutrality. Participants will also have the opportunity to involve in interactive discussions and to approach other sustainable urban mobility issues.
