4th ITS - Interregional collaboration between DIHs and EDIHs

The 4th Interregional Thematic Seminar and study visit of the BEST DIH project took place during November 6th to 8th, 2024, in Hungary, organized by PBN in Sárvár and Szombathely.

The two-day program aimed to introduce participating partners and stakeholders to local examples in the field of digital transformation and collaboration between Digital Innovation Hubs.

Key points of the event included:

• Presentations on the digitalization of Szombathely: Local authorities shared current plans and projects for the city's digital transformation.
• Pannonia2030 Initiative: The cross-border cooperation between Austria and Hungary was highlighted, aiming to develop a more connected and digitalized region.
• BEST DIH:
  • Cooperation projects of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs): Key projects supporting companies in transitioning to advanced digital technologies were showcased.
  • Best practices from partners in various European regions: The session included case studies from Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, Italy, and Romania, offering examples of how digitalization can support both industries and urban communities.
• Study visit to the Pannon Business Network Digital Innovation Centre: Participants explored prototypes, extended reality solutions, and technologies designed to educate and prepare the next generation of professionals.

The event was a unique opportunity for hands-on learning, knowledge sharing  and building partnerships
