Cycling Waterways Infodays in Destination Kystlandet
From September 17-19, 2024, Destination Kystlandet in Denmark will host a series of public info-meetings about the Interreg Europe Cycling Waterways Project across the municipalities of Odder, Horsens, and Hedensted. These sessions, scheduled from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM each day, are timed to coincide with the European Sustainable Mobility Week, highlighting the areas's commitment to eco-friendly travel and sustainable tourism.
During these info-meetings, project manager Pia Schildknect Taylor will offer an in-depth presentation of the Cycling Waterways Project, detailing its goals, progress, and the benefits it brings to local communities and the environment. Attendees can expect to learn about new cycling routes, infrastructure improvements, and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable mobility along the waterways. The sessions will also provide insights into how the project aligns with broader European sustainability goals and the potential opportunities for community involvement.
In addition to the presentation, there will be opportunities for participants to ask questions, share their perspectives, and engage in discussions about the future of cycling tourism in the region, and how to become involved in shaping cycling in the region.
This is a unique chance for both stakeholders and the general public to gain firsthand information about the project's expected impact and to contribute to shaping its implementation. The info-meetings are open to the public, but registration is required. To secure your spot, please email [email protected] for further details.
