First local steering committee in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (FR)

The 6/04/23 The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region organised the first local meeting of the REC4EU project in the framework of the steering committee of its call for projects for “participatory and citizen projects for energy transition”.

The Region called together a steering committee to co-construct its strategy to promote the development of local energy communities. The institutional members are

• the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region,
• Ademe,
• DREAL,
• Cirena and
• Terra Energie.

The REC4EU project, presented at this first meeting by ALEC, will help define the regional strategic framework (level of ambition, priorities, territorialization, etc.).

The Region has an existing call for projects that will facilitate the support of local actors. Even if the application decrees of the law on the RECs are not yet published, REC4EU will help to influence this public policy instrument.
