First stakeholder meeting in Kekava (LV)

On the 20th of September, Municipality of Kekava held its first Local Stakeholder (LSG) Meeting in ACROSS project.

The aim of the meeting was to:

• Provide stakeholders with feedback from the 1st SC, Study visit and thematic seminar held on 10-11 September 2024 in Alba Iulia;
• Address administrative tasks that need to be completed by the end of Semester 1.

An online meeting was convened to discuss with stakeholders the project's objectives and planned activities and what are Kekava Municipality's goals. The policy instrument addressed by Ķekava Municipality in this project is Kekava Municipality Development Program 2021-2027. The main policy challenge of the municipality to be tackled is to strengthen the awareness and information level of the local entrepreneurs and to encourage them to move towards low-carbon business model. 

The session facilitated an exchange of ideas and clarified roles and responsibilities within the project framework. It provided feedback from the 1st SC, Study visit and thematic seminar held on 10-11 September in Alba Iulia.  Participants received insights from good practices shared at the event.

Additionally, the meeting addressed administrative tasks that need to be completed by the end of Semester 1. Participants were also updated on the actions completed during Semester 1 and informed about the objectives for Semester 2.
