KORALE community rail: GIPUZKOA / BASQUE COUNTRY
This European project, led by ADINBERRI, aims to tackle the problem of loneliness and social isolation, one of the great challenges of today's society on which the Adinberri Foundation and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa have been working for the last 4 years through the HARIAK Strategy.
Together with ADINBERRI, KORALE brings together five other European partners: Social City Vienna (Austria), Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon (Portugal), Fingal County Council (Ireland), Municipality of Aalst (Belgium) and Central Denmark Region (Denmark). The partners will work together for four years, sharing experiences and good practices in the field of loneliness in both older people and youth to bring about change at the public policy level.
At the end of the programme, 24 good practices and a Policy Guide to guide public policy initiatives in this area will be published.
And as a first step, next June 20th in Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián) the international event KORALE Community Rail will take place, being this meeting the beginning of a tour through the different cities involved in the KORALE project.
