LE2C participated in LSM within the GreenGov project
On March 18th, 2025, the Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C) participated in the Local Stakeholder Meeting of the GreenGov project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme. The meeting took place at the Regione Lombardia headquarters in Milan. During the event, LE2C presented the Repower Industries project, outlining its main activities, key results and contributions to the discussion focusing on the results of market analysis and workshop results, the importance of study visits and the sharing of best practices. The project aligns with GreenGov’s objectives, as both initiatives focus on supporting companies in tackling the challenges of the green transition.
The GreenGov project aims to assist European regions and local Repower Industries - Promoting better policies for Industrial Energy independence and security authorities in implementing the EU Taxonomy and improving the governance of their financing schemes. Key topics addressed include the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle, Sustainable Finance, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, and Climate Proofing. These elements are essential for promoting the circular economy, enhancing energy efficiency, and facilitating the transition of SMEs.
A crucial aspect of this collaboration is the common stakeholder, Regione Lombardia, which is a Project partner in the GreenGov project and Associated Policy Authority in the Repower Industries project. This shared involvement enhances the synergies between the two projects, fostering greater impact and effectiveness. LE2C's participation in the GreenGov Local Stakeholder Meeting highlighted the importance of cross-project cooperation in advancing sustainability and green transition policies.
