Public Procurement and the Reservation of Contracts

On June 28, 2024, a training session was held on reserving public contracts for companies in the Social Economy sector, as provided for in the Public Sector Contracts Law (Law 9/2017). Meeting was held at the Las Claras cultural centre, in Murcia.
The training was attended by public employees and members of social economy enterprises, attracting a large audience. The main objective was to ensure that both the public sector and social economy enterprises actively participate in public procurement processes. The aim is for public administrations to comply with the legal requirements by reserving a portion of public contracts for Social Economy enterprises when issuing tenders.
