Raising awareness about e-waste management in Ormož

On March 7th, 2025, an awareness event was held at Ormož Castle as part of the Interreg Europe project WEEEWaste – Improving policies for waste management of electrical and electronic equipment.

The event aimed to inform the general public about the importance of proper e-waste handling and the project’s objectives in enhancing related policies. In a warm and engaging atmosphere, participants gathered over coffee and refreshments to discuss challenges and opportunities in managing electronic waste. The event also encouraged intergenerational dialogue and community involvement, underlining the shared responsibility we all have in building a more sustainable future.
