Regional Stakeholders Meeting

CIM Region of Coimbra has held a public presentation on January 18, 2022, at 11:30 am, in the municipality of Mira (Mira Center incubator): Flexible Transport on Demand in the Region of Coimbra (Regional Meeting of Stakeholders), which was carried out within the scope of the PriMaaS- Prioritizing low carbon mobility services for improving accessibility of citizens project, approved by the Interreg Europe program, which CIM RC is a partner.

The PriMaaS project's main objective is to create a knowledge center, supporting regions to promote the concept of MaaS (Mobility as a Service). The project team main goal is to ensure that mobility solutions are focused on the needs of citizens and that mobility solutions for low carbon are good options from the citizen's perspective in terms of comfort and price.
In this perspective, the CIM Region of Coimbra has been focusing on the flexible transport service on demand in the region, as a mobility solution and as an important point in the promotion of the MaaS concept.
With about 20 participants, the event was attended by, among others, the Mayor of Mira and Vice-President of the CIM Region of Coimbra, Dr. Raúl Almeida, Mr. Vice-President of the Municipal Council of Mira, Dr. Artur Fresco, the Executive Secretary of the CIM Region of Coimbra, Dr. Jorge Brito and taxi operators in the municipality of Mira.
