Workshop on awareness raising on plastic littering

PLASTECO consortium is glad to invite you to participate on 16.02.2022 at the interregional workshop on increasing the level of awareness about plastic waste and the promotion of the purchase of recycled plastic products, organized by the Agency for Regional Development Bucharest-Ilfov, in the context of the implementation of the PLASTECO project - Supporting EU regions to curve plastics waste and littering, together with 7 partners from regions of the European Union.
The event will provide interesting information from the materials elaborated within the PLASTECO partnership, regarding policies and practices to improve the separation at the source of plastic waste, ways to increase the degree of consciousness a thread on plastic waste, as well as the population and industry's perspective on the production and the use of recycled plastics.
The agenda also includes presentations of some examples of best practices implemented by:

• - City Hall Sector 3 Bucharest - plastic waste management system,
• - Municipality of Lipsi, Greece - the system of sorting and door-to-door collection,
• - Future Plus Association - the project "Recycling Map"
• - Marathon EPR Group S.A. - Recycling Marathon project,
• - Recycling International - the program "We put a price on plastic" - the initiative "Pay with PET",
• - More Green Association - Clean Water Program
