Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans

Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) are planning instruments for cities that encourage joined-up decision-making across sectors and between stakeholders, for providing high-quality, sustainable mobility.

The SUMP concept is elaborated by the European Commission, and many support measures are provided at the European level, to help cities to transition to more sustainable transport solutions.
