Carolina Giraldo Nohra was the first to share her research on “Systemic Design Method: Delivering circular business models for the region”. She developed her ideas on how systemic design methods can aid to move Europe towards a circular economy. Find the full presentation here:

RETRACE Interreg Europe Project

Iida Holck continued the presentation by introducing the topic of “Industrial symbiosis for regional sustainability growth and a resource efficient circular economy”. The aim of this project is to improve regional policies in order to develop industrial symbiosis. As well as to diffuse industrial symbiosis and align regional policies with the circular economy package of the European Commission. Find the full presentation here:

The final presentation was given by Sara Picone and Ugo Mencherini on the topic of “Food crossing district: a systematic approach for industrial symbiosis at regional level”.
