Encouraging didactic paths and civic and environmental education projects in local schools has become a necessity. Local and regional authorities in the European Union are one of the main forces shaping educational and information policies, including in the area of sustainable development. The role of local and regional authorities is to promote, coordinate and support this type of activity is necessary because education for sustainable development cannot be implemented effectively without the involvement of local and regional authorities. For this reason, it is a useful example of what tools policies should support and promote in their regional and national contexts in order to teach children the correct use of services active on the territory and motivate them to conscious behavior to shape the society of the new generations
