Mapping out the community and applicant’s journey
For our dedicated team of web experts, work on the new website never stops! Over the last few months, we’ve been exploring the most complex and crisscrossing journeys on the website: the online community and the project application process.
Read about how things are progressing.
Our community helps build capacity
Our online community is an excellent way for policymakers and public authorities in Europe to build their capacity. Through it, they can exchange and share experiences with their peers, find project partners and read up on the latest EU policy trends.
During the design sprint, we came up with various ways to foster capacity building including the development of a personalize online space where our community could find events, articles and good practices based on their thematic interests.
We tested our early ideas on a few community members. Their feedback was incredibly useful and will help us improve on our next version.
Making a seamless application process
In March, we also mapped out the different steps involved in developing an Interreg Europe project. We spoke to lead partners from Innocastle, FINCH, CARPE DIGEM, S34Growth and PROGESS who explained how they:
- Found project partners Image
- Made sure they were eligible
- Got feedback from us about their project idea
- Filled in the application form
Understanding the journey applicants take from beginning to end, inside and outside our website, will help us make sure that the information they need is available at the right time and is easy to find.
Next month, we’ll be building early prototypes and testing them on you.
