2023: a year of peer reviews
As the year is coming to an end, the Policy Learning Platform reflects on all the activities carried out over 2023. Among webinars, policy briefs and numerous publications, the peer review service took a special role with 23 peer reviews delivered.
We supported regions in 14 different countries in finding solutions for their regional policy challenges. Explore some examples below:
- Implementing low emission zones in Romania
- Governance and digitalisation of cultural heritage, City of Magdeburg, Germany
- Early school leaving and integration of NEETS into the labour market in Réunion Island, France

I'm delighted to welcome to Region Réunion a European delegation of experts to launch an in-depth process to coordinate our measures in the fight against early school leaving. The sharing of experiences and the delegation's findings will lead to the drafting of an action plan and the start of a collaboration between our different countries. I am proud that we have launched this action as part of the INTERREG Europe programme and the Peer Review project.
