1st study visit in Rovaniemi, October 30

On October 30 -31, Lapland University of Applied Sciences hosted the DEPART Interreg Europe Project’s first study visit in Rovaniemi, the heart of Finnish Lapland.

Project partners and stakeholder representatives came together to experience the region’s hospitality and explore the potential of sports tourism in Lapland.

The first day’s program included a key project partner meeting, insights into sustainable biking trail development, and an unforgettable visit with Santa Claus!
