On 31st May and 1st June, our Greek partner KEPA - Business and Cultural Development Centre, is hosting the second Design4Innovation combined Partnership Meeting and interregional learning event. In Thessaloniki, Design4Innovation partners are going to examine their Operational Programmes to identify opportunities for design support schemes.
Jointly with our regional policymakers and OP managers, we will examine the specific implementation mechanisms of the ERDF OPs (e.g. vouchers, grants, mentoring, incubator and export programmes). This will enable us to identify where and how design could be integrated into the structural funds programmes.
Participants will also visit Thessaloniki innovation hubs where start-ups can receive support for ideas incubation. As proved during our first meeting, partners find study visits an extremely useful way to learn about business support initiatives and a source of inspiration for their future Design Action Plans.
