Local stakeholders for travel data collection about MaaS
The 2nd semester was not boring either. The preparation for the passenger data collection is in progress, we are over the 1st learning event and all partners have coordinated with local stakeholders. A total of 6 events took place in 6 different regions. The main topic was of course the overview of the results of the stakeholder survey and good practices in Hungary. Almost 40 international experts were active in the local development of MaaS. Check out our short summary:
- Stad Geel, Belgium
On Monday afternoon, February 10, 2025, the second stakeholder meeting for the MaaSolutions project took place at the Belgian partner with key participants from Stad Geel, Thomas More, KU Leuven, and other important stakeholders. Here's a summary of what was discussed:

- Puglia Region, Italy
On February 13, 2025, Regione Puglia hosted a successful Stakeholder Group Meeting in the context of the MaaSolutions project, co-financed by the European Union within the Interreg Europe 2021-2027 Programme. The meeting was held online, and it brought together key regional mobility players, including representatives from Trenitalia, Ferrovie del Gargano, Politecnico di Bari, and local authorities.

- Leipzig, Germany
On the 5th of March, Aufbauwerk Leipzig facilitated the second stakeholder group with Associated Policy Authority (APA) from Northern Saxony. The meeting focused on the end user survey, which needs a close collaboration with the APA to be as valuable as possible.

On March 28, 2025, Liepāja City Municipality Central Administration held its 2nd stakeholder group meeting, with ten participants from various sectors. The meeting focused on insights from the 1st international learning event in Szombathely and Hungary's sustainable mobility best practices. Participants discussed the MaaS business model development, procurement progress, and data collection tasks. The next international learning event dates were set, and the importance of pilot activities in different urban environments was emphasized to test the primary infrastructure for MaaS development in partner cities.
- Vas County, Hungary
On March 31, 2025, the second stakeholder group meeting of the Vas County took place in online form. The participants reviewed the project activities to date, the details of the initiated end-user questionnaire, and the results of the 1st international learning event held in Szombathely on March 25-26, 2025. The main focus of the meeting was the presentation of the results of the stakeholder questionnaire on MaaS and their acceptance. Among the next steps, the recruitment and data collection tasks of the end-user questionnaire were determined, and the dates and topics of the next learning event and local stakeholder group meeting were also decided.
