5th Interregional Event in Lappeenranta, Finland
The 5th Interregional Event of the MonitorEE project will take place in Lappeenranta, Finland, on May 13–14. Partners and stakeholders will gather to share progress, exchange experiences, and explore local energy efficiency initiatives.
Study visit to Ämmässuo Eco-Industrial Centre in Helsinki
The third study visit is fast approaching and will be hosted in Helsinki by our Finnish partner, HSY. The visit is scheduled to take place from May 26th to 28th. We will dive deeper in the organisation of the Circular Hub: Ämmässuo Eco-Industrial Centre and the EKOMO partnership.

Finland uses a centralised control system. The control is carried out by employees of the Regional Council of Lapland.

The costs
The Regional Council of Lapland will not charge costs for control for Finnish partners involved in an Interreg Europe project.
On-the-spot checks
At least one "on-the-spot check" will be carried out during the project lifetime in projects where partners report equipment and/ or infrastructure & works costs related to a pilot action.
Any other on-the-spot checks will be based on the professional judgement of the controllers.
